Have asked once before but had no takers.
We started out with four stick insects last year and, despite clearing out any eggs we found, we now have over a hundred! We really need to rehome some of them as finding enough privet to feed them is becoming a problem.
If anyone would like some as pets (NOT FOOD) please get in touch. All they need is a tank with a mesh lid that they can't escape from and fresh privet to eat.
In the meantime of finding new homes for the wee beasties, what area are you in? I've got some pretty big privet hedges.

my kids would love these too, could you get them to s8 - meersbrook this weekend?
they'll be a great addition to the menagerie:
2 rabbits
5 fish
4 newts
1 dog
and 14 gerbils (plus another 4 on the way)
o yes and the 3 kids heh
If you any still spare my son would love to have a couple.

If you're in need of more privet please let me know- we'll be doing hedge trimming over the next week or so.

I've just put a small glass viv on the free classified section. With a fine mesh lid it'd do for stick insects. It'll have to be collected but you're welcome to snip my privet hedge whilst you're here.
id like some please. are they still available? how much are they?
