I've searched but can't find a post about a pub quiz in S10, S11 or S7 on a Wednesday - can anyone help?

If you can venture into S6, the Sportsman here in Stannington does a quiz from 9.30 PM on Wednesday nights.

Beware though, Sportsman tends to get a lot of chavs in.

That sounds terrifying - I suppose we could head down there - better if there was somewhere closer mind.

I think the Heavygate (S10) used to do one a Wednesday, though it is years since I've been in there and has changed hands since.
Maybe give them a ring?

The prince of wales on carterknowle road (s11) has a quiz night on Wednesdays and i think the Robin Hood in Millhouses (just off abbeydale road) does too

The Noah's Ark pub has a quiz on a Wednesday as well. Generally starts at 9.30ish. Really nice beer and a nice pub to boot.

I always there on a Wednesday for the quiz.

As said before best to call first.

The heavygate has moved to a Tuesday. The pop quiz is still on a Sunday with a rollover for getting 90% right (now over £50) and you get free sandwiches
