I have looked but can`t find anything about why there are masses of flowers next to bargin booze at firth park.

Went to doctors last night and saw them.

Must have happened last week or so I think ?

Rosie

They were put there because the lad who was stabbed at that fair in Hillsborough the other week apparently used to "hang around" there. He actually lived just up the road but for some strange reason people have put the flowers at the side of the Advice Centre/beer place. Strange reasoning if you ask me - would make more sense to put them where he lived but I suppose they didn't want to cause further upset to the family.

His gang was always around the 'takeaway' place. I guess that was his territory.

That's not there anymore Internetowl closed down after that fire - that shop is empty now (it was an insurance broker place for a while). So it looks more like they've been left outside the Advice Centre.

Wendy - the chicken shop was open the other day - I have the remnants of the evidence in my car still (honest I will throw it out) - I remember the fire but its re-opened since then..

 Shows you how much notice I take of the place when I go to the Advice Centre for the Credit Union meetings or collections then doesn't it! :D Probably because I'm always in a rush!

what I think it is , is during the day time its closed and the shutters are down - I don't think it opens till tea-time / early evening except at weekends. I might be wrong but it was definitely open the other night - chicken was quite good too :)

You might be right there Internetowl, although our meetings are at night I don't tend to look in that direction since I'm always on the last minute for them! :D

Scotia - nice to know I'm not the only one.
