Is Eriksson having a laugh here?

This is just further evidence that he has totally lost the plot.

He's not having a laugh at all. Emile HAS been recalled to the England Squad.

But only because Paul Robinson and David James are injured.

Oh, didn't you know? He's putting Emile in goal with the Neville Brothers (two more insta-England-playas) playing up front!!

Sven - take up knitting, mate.

Did he ever have the plot? Can't say I've ever been a fan.

Give us the best manager in the world and I don't think we have a chance of winning anything... we just don't have good enough players!

He's been recalled 'cos Andy Johnson is a doubt with a foot injury. Whats happened to Vassell?

I think Sven will get the sack after the next world cup if we don't do very well, he's made alot of enemies at the FA and the fans are starting to rumble in the background against him. They can't get rid of him yet 'cos the pay off he will recieve will be the same as the GDP of a small African nation!

On a different note do we really need a full time national manager anyway? What does he actually do during the months long gaps between England games? fair enough he watches prospective players but surely scouts could do that now? Peter Taylor did it ok on a part time basis whilst he was manager of a club, McLaren did it part time as well.

I used to think Heskey was useless and then I saw him play quite well in an England game. Can't remember which one but he got to pass the ball, did some tackling, wrote the theme tune, sang the theme tune and might even have scored a goal.

That may be so, but at least we might have a manager whom picks the inform and best players available and not just those whom are well in.

Of course, Heskey can do the job lying down.....he usually does!:)
