My daughter is invited out tonight on west street.

Whats it like around there?

Will she be able to get a taxi home easily?

hi - its crazy mad ;D .....no not really - all very pleasant - lots of cabs around

Easy to get a cab and lots of people about. It's a horrible place at the weekend though in my opinion but sure she will be fine is she is with friends.

West St can get pretty boisterous on Fri & Sat nights - I'm old & boring and so think its all too hectic - but its all quite good natured and there's loads of cabs

im old too - but i still like it - not that often though i must admit :)

She will be fine, as long as her and her friends stick together. I know how you feel, as my younger sister has just strted going out. Its very worrying but you have to let them grow up don't ya. :)

Its like a long street with shops, pubs and takeaways.

It's actually not bad, top end's much nicer than the bottom though imo. Lots of cabs and people. I'm sure she'll be fine!

If you're thinking about her safety, West Street is probably one of the better places to go. Yes there's lots of people drinking, but there's always lots of people about and lots of taxis. Actually, I don't think i've ever seen a fight either, but no doubt it happens.

Well she went, had a brilliant time and came home in one piece:D
