Gucci Girl 11-04-2008, 12:03 I always stuff them with soggy paper and let it dry over night :)
natalie H 11-04-2008, 12:07 yeah I heard you are supposed to put wet newspaper in them :)
Pee in them!!
That's what I heard anyway.
I'd personally wear them and take the pain until they wore in.
But then I'm a bloke. What the hell do I know?

I thought you would suggest filling them with Cream Cheese? :suspect:
I thought you would suggest filling them with Cream Cheese? :suspect:No way!! The cream cheese is reserved for smearing myself with.
BasilRathbon 11-04-2008, 12:22 Squash a grey squirrel into each one. If it's a bit of a tight squeeze, lubricate the squirrels with cream cheese. Leave overnight, release into the wild the following morning (the squirrels, not the boots).
Hope that helps!

Leave overnight, release into the wild the following morning (the squirrels, not the boots). If the squirrels refuse to vacate the boots in the morning, tempt them out with two sticks of lovely fresh celery from your local greengrocer.
Polish them over and over a few times, wear them around the house. Don't use dubbin, it can rot the stitching. Stuff them with paper when you're not wearing them.
foxforcefive 11-04-2008, 13:26 Wear a couple of pairs of thick socks with them in the house.
Jabberwocky 11-04-2008, 13:30 Exactly how high are these..... leather boots?
Thigh high?
I just did a little wee thinking about that.
sheffy1986 11-04-2008, 13:33 blast a hairydryer inside them on high setting
or
fill them with ice and leave em in fridge over night
worked with my football boots
Burntlego 11-04-2008, 13:36 Put potato peelings in them overnight - I saw that on 'Trade Secrets' when they had cobblers on!
muckynees 11-04-2008, 13:39 I've always been lead to believe that if you stuff them tightly with wet newspaper and leave overnight it should do the trick. I've never tried it though, maybe it's just an old wives tale! Got to be worth a try though :)
puddinburner 11-04-2008, 13:49 old soldier way to stretch boots was to P in them!!!:gag:
BasilRathbon 11-04-2008, 13:51 Find a medieval torture rack, strap the boots to them and tighten the rack further if the boots refuse to confess.

Trade Secrets was mint. Where did it go?
NEKRO138 11-04-2008, 14:13 Pull them over the head of a large faced child.

hahahahahahhahaha
Treatment 11-04-2008, 14:59 Put old newspaper inside and then pee in them.
Then, if you can still get ''neetsfoot Oil'' (spelling wrong), from the market, give them a good sorting with that. (it is the exudants from cows' stomachs)
Failing that why not buy a larger size?
You used to be able to buy a tin of spray on leather stretcher from places like heel bars. When you sprayed it on, it softened the leather, then you could stretch them by wearing them with a pair of thick socks for a few hours.

If your willy is comparable to boot leather then stretching it is the least of your worries:hihi:
