Hi does anyone know of any good drama classes or clubs,preferably in the area of the city centre,,my daughter is a budding actress but all the acting schools are in the areas of Sheffield that are miles away from us and which would take an age getting to and from!!

Both Sheffield Youth Theatre and Crucible Youth Theatre are very good. Crucible has a waiting list of about a year (but maybe not for all age groups) - enquire at theatre. Sheffield Youth Theatre happens at Victoria Hall in town, haven't got contact number with me at the moment(!) but sheffield libraries or information service will be able to help

Theatretrain runs every saturday morning at the Norfolk park centre.

This club gives young kids good experience in big shows, but its not heavy on drama more dance.

My daughter is 14,and Mikey,the centre might be what she is looking for as she loves dance,didnt know that they did anything like that near to me,just goes to show we never really know the areas that we live in!!!
