View Full Version : How to send TNT deliveries - help wanted! mjlacey21 21-03-2005, 16:19 Can anyone give me a guide how to send TNT deliveries? I have loads to send asap and have never done it before! bobsyouruncle 21-03-2005, 16:41 hi, why not try this (http://www.tnt.com/country/en_gb.html) site, it may have all the info you're looking for:thumbsup: owdlad 21-03-2005, 16:41 Have a look on here http://www.tnt.com/country/en_gb/services/tnt9/tnt9.html or ring this number 0800 100 600 and they should be able to help  WallBuilder 21-03-2005, 21:59 When I worked in a warehouse we used several of the parcel deliveery services so as I've seen how they sling the parcels around just make sure that you've spent a little time making the packaging as robust and secure as you can. Good idea as well to make sure everything has the address on it twice as if you only put one address label on and it get's ripped off then there's a problem. cgksheff 21-03-2005, 22:31 It is no longer "asap" but all you do is phone them, have a credit card number, and they will come and collect. They will sometimes take cash at your doorstep. In some circumstances they will have to bring weighing scales. I am aware that the carrier is sometimes determined by the recipient's country but check out prices with the opposition e.g. UPS & DHL. Often Royal Mail can beat them. mjlacey21 22-03-2005, 09:10 thankyou! Had to sort some deliveries as quickly as possible and had all these random stickers and pieces of paper to fill in and the website had no instructions. Have ordered couriers before, but never from somewhere with an account with them so it just seemed far more complicated then usual. Thanks for all your help! |
