Probably the best Sheffield band around in my opinion. Just come back off a European tour with The Cure, first Sheffield band to play the new Wembley.
Off to see them in Leeds tomorrow.

Listen to the song dance parties on the audio streamer, that's the new single.
I just didn't think there was enough appreciation on here for them.

Couldn't agree more. Seen them quite a few times now. They were fantastic supporting Mad Capsule Markets, and absolute class at the Corp a couple of months later at the same place. Couldn't get the time to see them supporting The Cure. Wasn't happy.
An oldie but a goodie

You want to hear the new EP mate. Absolutely blinding. I saw them at both those gigs too, as well as about five times since then. They just get better and better.

Don't suppose you saw them at Leeds on the "unsigned" band stage in the middle of the afternoon? Couldn't believe how much atmosphere they got going for an afternoon gig.
Will have a listen to the EP.

No mate, I didn't. I've seen them atLeadmill with Chris Clarke (Warp) and Mirimar Disaster. I saw them at the plug. I saw them at York Fibbers too and I think at another gig of their own after the Mad Capsule Markets one.

They're on at The Fuzz Club on 26th Feb.
Thought I couldn't make it because I don't finish work until half 9, but the gig starts at 10 and ends at 3. Fated.
I'd be mad not to go, especially seeing as I got the tickets yesterday.;)

Great gig, as always. The place was rammed.

It was heaving. And I'm very hungover.

I'm still in bed. £1.60 for a snakebite, it'd be rude not to overindulge.
3rd time I've seen the Smokers Die Younger support. And 3rd time not impressed.

I didn't see the support. In fact, I can't remember much.
They rule. Their drummer must be fitter than most marathon runners.
