anyone watch it last week? ......... i could cope with the deformed blokes face, i managed to watch the operations to remove huge tumours and even the weeping wounds post op didnt bring a tear to me eye ............. but was there any reason what so ever to film the family slaughtering that pig? .......... it was horrid, the poor animal was screaming whilst they repeatedly moved the knife across its throat ........ I know such practiced happen, i just couldnt see why it was filmed, it really upset me.

I wanted to watch it, I think these programmes about strange medical conditions are really interesting! The one next week is about a woman who's half human-half tree.....I'm rather interested as to how that works!!

Does anyone know if the bloke survived the op?
I'm not much of one for programmes like this, but I started watching it and was struck by how dignified this poor lad was. Despite suffering the worst form of deformity I think I have ever seen, his humanity shone through - despite the freak show of his operation.
Unfortunately, sleep got the better of me and I missed the end - hence my question:)

He had part of the tumour taken off, but was still in great pain. Will have the other tumour taken off later. He will get money from the tv programme and good luck to him I say ! Hes had a terrible life, and suffered enough already.

That really sickened me too, there was no need for that bit to be shown.

i cried my eyes out watching this, then covered my eyes up when they were slaughtering the pig, wish i had turned the volume down though.
Awful :(
