During the last days of the war in Japan our unit was been overrun by the American army and i managed to flee down a sewer i spent days down there on my own until one day i met a fellow Imperial Japanese soldier going in the opposite direction to me

we hugged each other and spent the next 5 days together down in the sewer before deciding we must both go our seperate ways both trying to get back to our own families

so we hugged each other one last time and said farewell

it is only recently that i keep wondering if i should try and get back in touch with my friend of all these years ago

or do you think we where just two nips that passed in the sh*te
