NEW RESIDENCY LAUNCH @ NYLON, SHEFFEILD
STARTING SATURDAY 3RD MAY

Three residencies and a stack of tour nights just isn’t enough for house night Hat-Club; so, it’s donning its cap, and embracing the northern scene and launching a monthly residency at Sheffield’s Nylon nightclub.
Kick starting the shenanigans on May bank holiday, the London born party asks that one – you don’t talk about Hat-Club, and that two – you don’t forget your hat. Anyone who has been to one of these nights will know the hats create a sense a unity and a great talking point all night long. Combine this with some of the best up-coming, and guest house / electro jocks and you’ll get the warm, fuzzy feeling that Hat-Club gives off.
Nylon is an ideal home for Hat-Club. Its sophisticated setting and mood lighting will work well with the hat clad crowd whilst its Funktion One sound system will give the DJs something to drawl over.
Headlining this launch party is one of Hat-Club’s most popular residents, DJ Roo. His energy filled eclectic house sets have seen him play over all from Renaissance to the Ministry of Sound and alongside Norman Jay to James Zabiela. Roo is the ideal for this event when you consider the remaining line-up – Sandy Turnbull, another equally as eclectic artist. Sandy’s roots are deep and soulful but his sound ranges all over from disco to electro. He’s regular guest at nights such as Tribal Gathering and Sankey’s in Manchester. Last on this bill is STRUTT and Pin Up promoter and DJ, Dean Webster, where anything with a groove goes!
Hat-Club holds residencies at Digital (fka The Zap) in Brighton, seOne London, Storm in Southend, and has dabbled in Leeds, Manchester, Aberdeen and a whole lot more. It’s even been given its own outdoor stage at Gatecrasher’s Summer Sound System festival this year on Sunday 25th May.
