Just wondered, as I go there quite a lot, and its always a good night :)

Am staying in Rotherham for a works night out tomorrow. Have blown the Litten Tree out(contains untoward types that are not pleasing to the eye) in favour of Bluecoats though (just as many odd types but more normal people and better decor).

I expext you will get several comments slagging off Rotherham as a place for a night out ............

Yeah there are a couple of clubs and late night bars :D

Theres nightclubs open till 3 depends what style you like theres 2 bassline and 2commertial my lad djs in blueice nightclub on sats hes resident there come and check him out sheffields youngest up and commin dj lol .I have to big him up im his dad afterall lol . where ever you go mate have a good night and makesure you take id all pubs a and clubs have id scan on entry no matter what age its door policy in rotheram .

We go to Snafu in Rotherham when the live bands are on I love rock music.Barnsley is a good night out though.I agree Rotherham is closer together, same goes for shopping.

There's Liquid/Diva by the roundabout near the Police Station end of town, and MAGNA sometimes hosts very large gigs/clubs such as Gatecrasher.

In the town centre, I'd recommend the Bluecoat as a pub with food, and for live music, especially rock, SNAFU is definitely one of the best venues in either Rotherham or Sheffield.

I went last night and had a great time! Ended up in synergy which was open till 3am...I'd definitely recommend it :)

Rotherham is ok for a night out, it's certainly a change from Sheffield.

I work in Rotherham and most people I work with say Rotherham is a crap night out and either go to Barnsley or Sheffield.

rotherhams alright if you get made to go but prefer sheff and yes i am from rotherham!!!
