Hi,

i'm new on here and have just got engaged and have booked the doncastor regisrty office for the 20th December(decided to have a christams wedding!!) What i'd like to know is has anyone got married there and if so what was it like? I had a big civil wedding first time round so know it will be different but dont know quite what to expect. Also does anyone have any ideas for places to go after in the rotherham/ doncastor area. I'd like a country pub with open fires but apart form Rockingham Arms at went worth wouldn't know where else.

Thanks for the good wishes honeyb. I dont think its quite sunk in yet as we have only known each other 6 months and i didn't think i'd ever want to get married again after my first marraige ended but then i met the love of my life!!! Hope your plans are going well.

ooh Snap my wedding is on same day as yours! exact same reason wanted it as near to christmas as possible, dont know doncaster though but sure someone will advise you
