are there any? I was watching a programme on art deco and went to an exhibition in London, but couldn't think of a single art deco building in Sheffield.

Perhaps the black building (old nightclub) on London Road is one, but there must be others, mustn't there?

I think the City Hall definitely and the Central Library possibly ... Adelphi cinema in Attercliffe and there were some other cinemas too - there's a thread about them somewhere on here ... (must remember to do some looking up tomorrow)

I think I went to that exhibition too ... was it at the V&A? fabbie ...

the 'black building' on London Road is gonna be knocked down I reckon.
It has been bought by the developers that are building all the student flats next to it.

can't Imagine they would want to keep it.

Shame though, lots of fond memories clubbing at 'The Palais'.

What about the Showroom cinema?
