I have a copied disk (i know it's naughty, but I had to), and after doing a virus scan I was informed that I had this virus attached to one of the things on the disk.

TrojanDropper.Delf.3.BE

Can I get rid of it and still install that program or should I not risk it?

Not sure i should be helping here :suspect: but if 'I' were in the same situation, i'd install the 'dodgy' software. Then i'd go straight to an online trojan scan and have it removed.

Will this work?......God knows but if you play with fire, you run the risk of getting burned i'm afraid!.

If I were you I'd bin the dodgy disc, I certainly wouldn't install it if it's potentially virused.

Personally I would install what ever it is then run your virus checker, adawre and same anti trojan program just to be sure.

Okay, here goes... call me stupid if you like, but I need this software installing on my PC.

Fingers crossed, as i only factory reset it last weekend. :(

well, i ran some checks on it and found that it is a low risk trojan, or trojan related file, so you should be OK, if you run a virus scan quickly after installing.
