Is this a posh uni bar or can anybody get in??????

I used to walk past it each morning and from the signage outside it appeared to be for uni staff only. Not sure if Joe Public can join....

Its supposed to be for university staff and postgraduates only, but I've never been asked to show my UCard or anything else to prove postgrad status, so theoretically anyone could go in.

Like Tracey says it's for university staff or postgrads only. They used to have someone on the door but they now check only at their discretion.

Honestly you're not missing much.

Its at the bottom of Brook Hill, near the Roundabout, in fact more or less on the edge of the roundabout oppsite the chemistry department. Old building with Victorian doorway and archway above it.....very quaint and looks rather old and forgotten about.

We've had CAMRA meetings in there before - it's not bad.
