Well, here goes... I said I'd come off and start a new thread all of my own... and now I'm here it's all a little bit daunting really. What shall I do, what shall I say...
Well it has to be cheery, coz the 'forum's so morbid'.

Maybe another Vodka n RedBull will help.... hic.... thats better!

Who can tell me where the sun shines ALL YEAR round and it's WARM and FUN????? Because I think I need to go and live there, and I need to know where there is before I can formulate my cunning plan.

It's getting cold out there, when I have to leave the warmth of my home, and I often feel the desire to hibernate for the winter.

So, give us your suggestions asap.........

 (This isn't a blush - it's my cold cheeks in winter!)

I know.. but I forgot to mention that I also need NO extreme weather (ie. rainy seasons, hurricanes etc) and absolutely NO poisonous creepy crawlies and stuff.
You see why I think it's a bit tough???

South of France. It's less than a day's drive away, only a couple of hours by Easyjet, cheap (in some places) and very warm all year round.

Why do you think I ended up here?
It was 85 and sunny today. Sorry folks 8)
You are welcome to visit any time. I work in hotel sales so I can get you a good deal. The beach has powdery white sand and the sea is a beautiful green. They call it the Emerald Coast.
Actually I miss Sheffield right now and I'm visiting home in November. See you soon okay.

What about CentreParcs or that dome thing in Cornwall? That way you get all the benefits of living in England plus consistently good weather.

How true - Paradise is hard to find as there are always pitfalls.

Mind you SouthEast Queensland is hard to beat. Yes we do have a few spiders and snakes, but that is not something you worry about. I first moved to Victoria, down south in Australia if you don't know, and while the summers can be hot, winters are not too good. SE Qld, though, is pretty good. 29 degrees today, in spring, and generally not much above 30 degrees through summer, but the best is - hardly less than 20 degrees through winter!! They are celsius degrees of course!

But.... we still have the same moans that you do. Policing, or lack of it, high rates, high prices($2 for a pot of beer), etc.

We manage though:) :)

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I love our varied climate and all the seasons.

I always look forward to Winter especially those cold evenings all cosy & warm in front of the fire. Long walks in the cold then coming back home with cheeks tingling. Making bread in the warmth of the kitchen looking out at a winter wonderland. Yes I do love living here.:D

Canary Islands.

My cousin lives out in Tenerrife and loves it. Great warm weather all year round. No major creepy crawlies that you can't find over here. No monsoon type weather.

Jobs a good un.

I'd suggest Fuerteventura is the best canary island myself!

The northern highlands of Ethiopia have possibly the best climate in the world. Equatorial sun all year round, and nice high altitude to keep things fresh. Fantastic forests, brilliant weather, coast not far away.

The original Eden without a doubt.

The canaries are fine in the short term until one of the Islands cracks in half and falls into the sea, at which point they are toast. Also very little rain in Canary Is. so living is a bit of a problem.

If I remember correctly I believe that Hawaii has the most equitable climate in the world.
