I don't know how Private Johnson Beharry did what he did, but it's astounding.

To show the clear thinking he did, in the situation he was in, defies belief. He saved the lives of his comrades through a combination of lighting reflexes, single minded tenacity and a clarity of purpose which is truly humbling.

A real hero. If only I wore a hat.

Having read that, he certainly deserves it.

I agree that this is one case where the word HERO can be used without attracting any critisism. I hope he makes a full recovery.

I saw this on Sky news earlier today. Words fail me but the VC award says it all.

A very brave and selfless man indeed, glad he's been decorated as he obviously deserves it.
