Got my anniversary coming up & wanna try somewhere new to eat, Italian, Indian, Chinese & Thai are all good! All suggestions welcome!

Baan Thai at bottom of London Road for Thai. Ashoka for Indian. Marco at Milano for Italian

I'll second Baan Thai for a really special meal out - the decor is amazing, the food is fabulous (best Thai restaurant I've ever been in) and service is prompt and friendly. To top it all off, the prices are no more than you'd pay in any restaurant, in fact it's on the less expensive side.

I have to agree, it really is lovely i here. also the house wine - a Thai one is nice and for just under a tenner. which in my opinion is good for restaurant wine prices.

The wife and I both had bad tums after a valentine`s meal in baan thai. :gag:

bb`s for an italian and there are plenty of tidy curry places out there. or kum quat mae if you`ll be ok with veggie food. :love:
