Last time I had Pimms I danced on the table at a friend's party, fell off, fell over, took myself off to a nightclub in protest at Husband's attempt to make me go home and sober up and made oodles of new drunken friends that I've never seen again, got home as the birds started a tweeting. I like Pimms!

I should add I also drank three pints of beer, three large glasses of wine and a gin and tonic or four but you're welcome to stick to just the Pimms if you're a novice.

im the same....i got the taste of this tiple when i agreed to go out with an ex....my revenge was to order a nice expensive drink the barmans recommended double bailey and double tia maria on ice, which back 10 yrs ago cost £12 a glass :D

And when not drinking, it's a Muddy Water - a Britvic orange made up to a pint with Coke.

I was introduced to them some years ago by a guy I was working with on a film project. We borrowed the components and simply sat and drank them all night whilst 'holding court'.

Funny thing was that despite the volumes of alcohol we remained totally sober. We did, however, drink all the milk in the fridge which apparently made us VERY popular with the owner of the house when they tried to make tea the following morning. :)

Its from Islay. Its not unusual in that you can get it in every supermarket but it is distinctive in its taste. Its the most highly peat flavoured whisky you can get and has a medicinal tang that someone I know described as TCP

It is an acquired taste and one that I acquired about 20 years ago

I love my cocktails, and if I am feeling flush I'll have a few Bellinis. Instant tipsyness, it depends who I am with! :D Some places put a shot of fruit puree in it, and others a shot of Archers!
