Not used skype in ages but acquired a laptop and going abroad so decided to resurrect account and buy credit.

On visiting the site the history shows that a porn site has been received (weblink) and then forwarded from my skype to another skype user as the icon shows a dial out from my computer.

Can anyone tell me WTF is going on or what to do about it ?

Have you tried contacting the service provider?

.. but personally, I wouldn't use it. There are numerous documented security vulnerabilities within Skype.

The site was pretty innocuous (in porn terms) but there might come a time when it isnt - My worry is that the recipient of the forwarding (whom i dont know) has effectively received a porn site from a stranger (as have i) and there is the obvious possibility that the recipient will be offended / bloody annoyed/ under age or all three and the material is sourced to me (although i can of course source it to another skype username).

I was really after identifying a mechanism to stop it happening again and am pretty computer illiterate so how would i contact the service provider ?
