And they'd be looking down the table at Coventry instead of up. animal2477 01-04-2008, 20:06 Not safe till you are 4 points clear of going down with one match to go. Thought we were safe last year. Johnson at right back?!?!?! :loopy: Mr Sheffield 01-04-2008, 21:12 Don`t know Barnsley are are looking like decent bets for the drop!Watford & Preston away their next two plus Charlton & Hull at home! Mr Sheffield 01-04-2008, 21:13 God we were lucky. 1-1 is still not good enough, fast losing confidence in Brian Laws I'm afraid. Johnson at right back?!?!?! :loopy: Yeah i know and he cost us the goal as well! should have just put Watson there! sheffield-77 01-04-2008, 21:16 Don`t know Barnsley are are looking like decent bets for the drop!Watford & Preston away their next two plus Charlton & Hull at home! been thinking s'hampton down for a few weeks now they have a really hard run in and i cant see them getting much out of any of there remaining games brooksy 01-04-2008, 21:16 Pretty even game altho coventry came on strong second half.Still unbeaten and out of bottom three.Southampton got bristol city away sat so we plod on.Up the owls.:) igm1 01-04-2008, 21:21 Yeah i know and he cost us the goal as well! should have just put Watson there! In fairness to Johnson he was played out of position. And I saw how gutted he was when Coventry score due to his mistake. It's a defender's nature to boot it out in those situations but Johnson tried to play the ball and was punished. However, hee put in the cross for the equaliser and made up for it in my opinion. Chin up Johnson  igm1 01-04-2008, 21:22 Pretty even game altho coventry came on strong second half.Still unbeaten and out of bottom three.Southampton got bristol city away sat so we plod on.Up the owls.:) Knowing this league they'll win it. Draws are not good for us at this stage at all. Anyone who said today was a good result is kidding themselves AGAIN! mr_busdriver 01-04-2008, 21:27 Wednesday are safe... A safe bet to go down. Come on, the owls simply are not good enough for this league, a home draw against coventry is hardly spectacular Ally68 01-04-2008, 21:29 Wednesday are safe... A safe bet to go down. Come on, the owls simply are not good enough for this league, a home draw against coventry is hardly spectacular Did you go to the match tonight mr_busdriver? or are you just concentrating on other teams results? jaiden 01-04-2008, 21:36 Did you go to the match tonight mr_busdriver? or are you just concentrating on other teams results? he was driving the team coach. Mr Sheffield 01-04-2008, 21:38 6 unbeaten, although 4 draws in a row! Ally68 01-04-2008, 21:41 6 unbeaten, although 4 draws in a row! Quite amazing considering at the beginning of the season we would be either winning or losing (losing mostly, granted), the first draw being in November. Ally68 01-04-2008, 21:41 he was driving the team coach. He got back quick then. F. Sidebottom 01-04-2008, 21:46 Wednesday are safe... A safe bet to go down. Come on, the owls simply are not good enough for this league, a home draw against coventry is hardly spectacular Neither was your 0-0 home draw with Brighton on Saturday in your 'Title Winning'/'Promotion' season. jaiden 01-04-2008, 21:47 Neither was your 0-0 home draw with Brighton on Saturday in your 'Title Winning'/'Promotion' season. they did have a 15 point deficit. mack69 01-04-2008, 21:48  guess which mug was stood at the bus stop when wednesday scored :hihi::cry::D first time ive left b4 end in ages might do it regular if it means we score mr_busdriver 01-04-2008, 22:13 Yeah i know and he cost us the goal as well! should have just put Watson there! No offence :) SYorksDeano 02-04-2008, 10:21 God we were lucky. 1-1 is still not good enough, fast losing confidence in Brian Laws I'm afraid. Bloody hell thats a name from the past!!!!!!!!!! Still remember when that prat Kevin Gray broke Watson's leg, glad Watson took him to court. As they said it was the worst tackle that they had seen (well at the time anyway) SYorksDeano 02-04-2008, 11:24  guess which mug was stood at the bus stop when wednesday scored :hihi::cry::D Brian Laws??? geocol 02-04-2008, 11:32 Serves you right, sorry if that sounds harsh but I hate when people leave before then end..it doesn't give the team much encouragement when they see everyone walking out...stay and show your support.. No offence :) Last time i tried to get parole, and out early; was against Forest when we were losing 5-1 But Forest got a sixth before I got to the gangway, and the seventh as I was boarding one of the specials in Penistone Road, which was already almost full! That was on an April fools' day as well! Can't blame Francis entirely for that one, as he took a gamble and two defenders off and put two forwards on when the score was only 3-1, which left Guy Whittingham and Chris Waddle comically attempting to disposess Brian Roy. natalie H 02-04-2008, 11:39 Last time i tried to get parole, and out early; was against Forest when we were losing 5-1 But Forest got a sixth before I got to the gangway, and the seventh as I was boarding one of the specials in Penistone Road, which was already almost full! I have never done it - no matter what. Call me mad, but its just what I think :) geocol 02-04-2008, 11:43 I have never done it - no matter what. Call me mad, but its just what I think :) It is indeed a rare event, for me to have done so. You might have done if youe'd had the chance of getting on an earlier train home, rather than sharing one of two carriages with two and a half thousand gloating Forest fans! Sometimes, common sense or self preservation become more important than loyalty. mack69 02-04-2008, 12:06 Serves you right, sorry if that sounds harsh but I hate when people leave before then end..it doesn't give the team much encouragement when they see everyone walking out...stay and show your support..
