:( My little Luna (Jack Russell) had an accident today, i was decorating in the kitchen and didn't see her toddle in, she knocked over my white spirit and then stood in it and burnt her paws, poor thing didn't know what was happening, i put her in the bath with cold water in to soothe her feet whilst OH rang the vet who said to take her in if her feet looked sore. Thankfully she is now fine but its so scary to think of how hurt she could've been if we hadn't noticed :( i felt terrible and still do, she's forgiven me though and so have her paws.

Aww bless Luna; she would have seen you as the person who eased the discomfort, not inflicted it on her, so try not to feel too bad!

Thanks everyone, she is completely fine today, back to her loopy self although its bedtime for the dogs (and everyone else :?) now so shes curled up on her new fluffy blanket dead to the world :hihi:

I didn't actually see the vet, my OH phoned them explained what had happened and what i was doing to her in the bath and the vet just said if her paws looked sore or started to weep at all to pop her in, thankfully they didn't, we noticed quickly and plopped her straight into the bath.

I'm pretty certain the doggy chocolate drops she got afterwards helped her recovery :hihi:

doggy treats of any description wouldve taken the daft dobermutt;s mind off any injury. Glad he's OK.
