Is there anywhere that's accessible by public transport from the city centre?

There is Grenoside Equestrian Centre (used to be called Barnesgreen) on Halifax Road, you can get the 77 bus from town takes about half an hour. They're a good riding school, I worked there for a while a few years ago and one of my friends is an instructor.

I ride at Grenoside now, and I love it! It costs £19 for an hour lesson, and I think £13 for half an hour. Really interesting lessons covering jumping and a bit of dressage!
