My Xbox 360 died over the weekend, not ring of death but graphics went screwy, could still hear sound then went altogether boots up and loads games but posts nothing to the screen now. Looking for anyone in the Sheffield / Rotherham area who can fix them please.

send it back to microsoft. got a 3 year cover on them now

Only if you have the red lights (ring of death) which I dont have at the moment, looked at the microsoft site and according to my serial number it's out of warranty unless I have 3 red lights even though the box was only manufactured 18/05/2006

Wrong, I sent mine back for an overheating issue a while back, and they repaired it for free.

Just log is as ring of death, chances are they will just fix it!

They wont touch it unless its under a year, if you tell them its ring of death they apparently check and will bill you for it if it's not. Hence asking for a local reppairer, can't believe no one knows of one?

why not make it overheat then make the 3 red lights come on?

if you ring microsoft and tell them they can repair it at a cost,or you could try to give it 3 red lights by overheating it with a towel then you can get it done,my pal does repair them but i dont think he can do anything about a graphics card,he works at complex at handsworth give him a ring on 01142561010 see what they can do for you
