I've been drinking green tea for the past few years and apart from the general health benefits, I wouldn't say that it would cause you to loose weight in of itself. On top of that you can probably find a website that would tell you anything at all would cause weight loss.

My advice: try a controlled diet and exercise instead.

Only if you stop eating so many pies and to some excercise at the same time!

It is an excellent substitute when you have an urge to snack.
It does you good generally (anti-oxidants) and it has appetite suppressant qualities.

If you re going to give it a try and are not used to drinking herbal teas and such like I would recommend Green Tea with Jasmine, might have a bit more flavour. Also don't use boinling water, most green teas should be brewed with water at about 80 degrees, so either stop it before it boils or leave it to cool a bit before you add the water. Boiling water can make it bitter very easily. Also don't brew it for very long, get one of those tea balls as many loose green teas can be used a few times but if you just leave it in a pot with water it will get a bit evil!

Try these poeple:

I get lots of green tea from them, free postage and a good selection.

I never drink normal tea anymore.
