Hi

I am looking for a decent hall/centre/workplace to book an event in the middle of april for a community group gathering. It will be poetry amongst other things for a special community group. I would like a kitchen if possible though we will make do if there isnt one, just that i wish for food to be served and it will be made off site to bring there.

As long as its not in the middle of the manor/arbothourne/dodgy area in sheffield we are willing to pay a small amount to book of course but as its a community driven project our budget isnt huge so pls remember this :(

Try the Salvation Army on Psalter Lane. You can hire their function rooms and kitchen any day except Sundays.

What about the Lantern Theatre in nether Edge - not sure if they have a kitchen but they certainly hire a room that holds 20-30.

try hillsborough arena they have a massive multi function room, unsure of the telephone number but they do have a web site. They have really good parking facililites and a bar.

On the south side of sheffield you could try Abbeydale sports club, near totley they have a number of rooms to hire again really good parking and a bar the phone number is 0114 2367011.
