Just been trying to access Amazon.co.uk and it appears to be down!!

Anyone else or is this just me and my puter?

i suspect they update it friday mornings (lots of large sites do, eg ebay) and something's gone wrong.

www.amazon.com (american version) is up though, so you can see what they sell, but prices will be wrong!

Amazon suck anyway.

I used to use them regularly for games and DVDs, but lately their service has been ****e.

For example, I pre-ordered Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic for Xbox from them, came out Friday before last, but they said it would take up to 2 weeks for delivery despite charging the best part of 2 quid for delivery, WTF?! When I queried this with them they said it was due to a computer failure, and the game would not be delivered till November 20th-21st! WTF?! **** that, I cancelled the pre-order and bought the game from Meadowhall the day after it came out.

They did the same thing to me with another game, Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter, due out today, same 2 quid postage but 1 to 2 weeks for delivery, cancelled order and bought the game from Meadowhall earlier this evening.

Seriously Amazon suck, and should be reported to Watchdog or something IMO.

i hope theyve not turned crap! I ordered £160 worth of books from there last night for uni and if they dont come ill be up the proverbial creek

If they become rubbish i might have to take my custom elsewhere. Like Amazon.com lol
