hi i just pop down to darnall alloments today to catch up with a few old friends it was a bit disgracful to see infied lane used as a tipping ground for fly tippers i think it sounds like the council is going to block the road off they should have done this years ago it sound like they had a good meeting no commitee members where kicked off which is good and it sounds like they have got a few more members thats the trouble with commitees you can put years of good work in and get voted out at any time its sad to hear that a few commitee members have had it hard this week with silly dafts phone calls lets hope this will calm down now that everyone has come to an understanding

ps try and clean the lane up as its a real mess i could not get my car down it safe

That's why I go in from the top end of the road. Would not dream of trying to get their from the bottom.

It's a shame though, from what I remember when I walked down there it was such a mess, I can only guess it's got worse.

There is a big cleanup on Infield Lane on Friday April 11th from 9am.
Local councillors,Streetforce,CSO's,park staff and volunteers from the allotment society and Friends of High Hazels will all be there.All other volunteers will be welcome.After the cleanup,2 large boulders will be put at the bottom of the lane,and either a lockable barrier or CCtv cameras at the top.Hopefully this will stop the flytipping.
Don't worry about the threatening phonecalls we have had-we can take it!

so can any body help with the clean or just darnall alloment holders why i ask that is cause when alloment people help each other they on a lot get on better around sheffield cause you never no. when you may need help

yes just like to point out to people who read this not to be put off trying to get a plot on darnall they have got a good bunch of members what all stick up for there rights and help each other its a great bunch of people to be around you can ask any old darnall member yeah they might not like change thats how it is i know the commitee has had a few problems but you have got to cater for all your members needs its strange if you asked anybody on darnall about the commitee they would tell you its the best commitee they have had on here for years my advise to the commitee try and build bridges with your members because i think you will need to maybe it might be new commitee members trying to change things but good look to the future
