View Full Version : Mexican Restaurant on Ecclesall Road pegmosaic 30-03-2008, 12:37 Has any one been? Whats it like? Whats it like price wise? ta jaime 30-03-2008, 14:09 Went last night. Its a bar not a restaurant. You can get food but it is just nachos, tacos etc. They cost about £5 each but you dont get table service. Overall for drinks and a snack it is good, I would recommend it. It is ideal drinking food but it is not a restaurant. Scully 02-04-2008, 14:45 Atmosphere Ok. Quite dark inside. Food quite bland but I'm sure it will improve. I couldn't find any fish in my fish cakes! Good cold beers and staff were attentive. Strangest tasting Guacamole I've ever eaten. scottf 02-04-2008, 14:50 where is this? is it that place that used to be 543? Scully 02-04-2008, 14:57 543 yes. Now called Abuelo. Quesadillas/enchiladas decent portion for money and quite filling. DelMonte 02-04-2008, 17:16 Thought it was pretty good for cheapish, fast food mesen, will be going back :) JB-Property 31-08-2008, 10:38 Just wondering if anyone has any recent experiences of this restaurant, we were thinking of trying it this week. Not sure how good it is, think its ok though. my eyes only 24-11-2008, 22:49 My friends and I think Abuelo on Ecclesall Road is great, the staff are great and the atmosphere is good, they also make very good cocktails too. A good relaxing night out! |
