Im gonna be coming to Sheffield for the first time next month.

can you guys tell me what the nightlife is like ... particularly the bars.

No shortage of great bars.

Head for Division Street, West Street, Ecclesall Road.

'Sola' is a nice bar/restaurant on a side street behind Cathedral too.

Oh yeah, Trippets/Cubana on Trippet Lane (also behind Cathedral) and worth checking out.

Depends what you're looking for - real ale type places or posey & pretentious.

Don't head to ecclesall road- only a couple of bars there!!!

West street and division street are your best bets hun!!!

I think west street, there are some good places, i normally go to varsity, cavendish, bedroom, walk about, reflex, and then normally end up in a club either Niche or Kingdom - sometimes ( Dont go to kingdom :)!!!!).
