Or at least Ben Gibbard (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/6music_aod.shtml?6music/hub_deathcab). The other bloke's a bit of a twunt though.

New album (http://indiemusicsource.blogspot.com/2008/03/new-death-cab-track.html) out soon!

Death Cab are aces, Ben has a great voice. His solo work is really great too, just a shame that Camden leisure pirate George Lamb is blah blah blah-ing. Thanks for the link!!

Ben sounds utterly bemused by the drivel the bloke's spouting :hihi: .

Just in case you don't know about it already, Hype Machine is excellent for tracking down relative rarities. Death Cab and Ben Gibbard (http://hypem.com/search/death%20cab/1/) are particularly well represented at the moment due to the release of the new album in May. The covers are well worth listening to - especially his (very funny) version of Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated', and a version of 'Accidents Will Happen' where he completely mangles the lyrics. He also does a great live version of Billy Bragg's 'St Swithin's Day'. Link here (http://rawkblog.blogspot.com/2007/05/live-recordings-ben-gibbard-knitting.html) to some of them.

Check out Ben Folds too ('Landed' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54eNjLgImLs) is superb) - very similar voice and style.

ETA: I don't appear to have sound from YouTube. Just in case it isn't just me, here's an alternative link for 'Landed' (http://pool.cream.org/moozik/benfolds/BenFolds-Landed.mp3).
