I got hold of a Council Eviction notice, having changed the details to match those of my friend who was returning home from holiday that day. He arrived home all tanned & happy to find that on his door :hihi:

I once filled up a friends umbrella with loads of paper from hole punch and when they opened it outside they got covered! Also planted carrrot and turnip seeds in next doors flower pots, they couldn't figure out how they got ingredients for a stew growing instead of pansys!

We had a flash git at a company I used to work at who blew a couple of hundred quid on a set of sunglasses.
One day he left them on his desk and went out to lunch so we took his desktop apart and secreted the shades inside his pc.
He was not amused when we wouldn't tell him were his prized sunnies were and made him play a game of warmer and colder in order to find them.

I always think for April fools day the more spectacular and elaborate the prank the better, if it goes wrong then people will shake their heads and say "Oh it's April 1st - nevermind".
But if it goes right then fortune and glory awaits the perpetrator for having the sheer audacity to rig up a Macguyver like situation.

Stick some paper or something over your sleeping victim's eyes.

When they wake up, "Oh my god! I'm blind"

Or one that my friend told me

Heat up a bowl of water to 60 degrees.

Put your sleeping victim's finger in the water

Hehe nasty surprise for them in the morning. :P

get black marker (not peminent) and put it on a work colleagues reciever where the microphone is and them ring them :D :D

post it not on the bottom of a mouse is always a good one, works best on optical mice.

Heh heh. I once used a stamp-pad to do this to a colleague. Kept calling him and hanging up all day. By the end of it he'd got black circles on both ears, round his mouth and on his forehead.

No damage just a lengthy chat with what I thought was a policeman the year after. b*****d.

I planned a good one last year, but never got around to doing it. I'm going to be in Germany this April 1st, so will miss my chance again. Anyone fancy having a go at it for me? Here is the prank:
