Has anyone had any luck with making a USB flash stick (also known as a pendrive) bootable with flash linux ?

I have been trying to acheive this and I am not having much luck, I have followed the information on the website, but, it doesn't work at all, so, if anyone has managed to do it or knows of an easier way, let me know.

I managed it a few years ago when USB pen drives first came out, if you've read the above page and still no joy PM me.

It can also depend on the flash disk, some just won't do it.
