Who do you think will win this award?

The smart money is on Terry or Lampard. There is a slight chance that there could be a vote split leaving room for an outsider to sneak in. SWP perhaps?

I believe this is what happened the year David Ginola won, the vote got split between two Man Utd players.

I don't really think there's much chance of it not being either of those two, I'm sure they'd get at least two thirds of the vote between them.

But my other possible nominations:

Thierry Henry - Arsenal have played poorly by their standards but he is top scorer by miles
Andy Johnson - Amazing achievement to get 18 goals for relegation favourites
Petr Cech - The outstanding keeper in England and probably Europe too

I really can't think of any other candidates.

I can't choose between Lampard and Terry, I had Terry down as my pick until a couple of months ago, but Lampard has gone up a gear since then, putting in great performances in almost every game.

I wouldn't shed any tears if one of these four won it;

Andy Johnson
Petr Cech
John Terry
Frank Lampard
