how about some new styles for the forum a new look ed be nice i think:)

There has been quite a bit of discussion recently about what people like about the forum (or not) and one of the most common positive comments was the clarity of the look and layout. What sort of 'styles' would be better?

If you change the style it wouldnt be the same although put a bit more about sheffield in the design would be a good idea.

Maybe just colourschemes? I can think of at least one group of supporters of a certain team who might want a blue theme.....

I like the forum in it's present style, it is clear and concise.

That would seems to be the best idea.
My opinion though is that its perfect the way it is.

I preferred the old format where alternating posts had a darker background

the white background to all posts creates eyestrain

if there was a choice I'd choose something less harsh on the retina

If the styles only applied to the user picking them, then I think this might be a good idea. Being able to pick your own colour scheme (background, text boxes etc) wouldn't hurt.

I know, I just wanted to make it clear to everyone else. I think most people have voted on this without having a true understanding of what was proposed. :)

Outcome

This maintained a negative average score of -10 based on user votes.

We are in agreement with this consensus and therefore will not be implementing this idea at this time.
