West Brom Striker Bartosz Slusarski has joined Wednesday on loan
Brian Laws has this morning brought in striker Bartosz Slusarski on loan from West Brom for the rest of the season.

NERVY-OWL 27-03-2008, 17:34 from what i've heard of shiwomni and seen of clarke, surely he cant be any worse, apparently been scoring in the reserves, hopefully he can do same in league
Goddam Polacks, waltzing in and taking away all our football jobs ... :hihi:
Is he any good? One half-decent goalscorer could get you out of the mire single-handed.

He can certainly score goals, he's scored 6 in the last 4 reserve games. Althought he might find chances harder to come by at Wednesday.

How many loans you brought in now? Must be nearing your quota.

The Owls second string beat their United counterparts last night at Worksop..
Goals from Burton O Brien, Ronnie Wallwork and Luke Boden secured the win for the Owls. They fielded a fairly strong side with Steve Watson and Etienne Esajas returning from injury alongside the likes of Jermaine Johnson, Ronnie Wallwork, Peter Gilbert and the aforementioned Burton O Brien.
United however had fielded a weakened team with much of the academy players making up their side. This was due to most of Uniteds reserve squad being in Hungary to play a friendly against Ferencvaros.
It was like the tables were turned from the home reserve encounter as in the first fixture the Owls side was mostly made up of the academy scholars.
no your not wrong but i knew one of ya would bite ;)

that's quite right however if you look at the team, SWFC had mostly senior players in the team and sufc was the under 18's that's really big of them isn;t it haha

Considering how many Blades fans were laughing at Wednesday when our senior reserves beat their academy/youth team, I would say they've every right to gloat. What works for one team works for all.
Unless, of course, you're admitting that the Blades fans were being stupid to do that.
