View Full Version : What title would you give yourself?
If Max and Nomme and RPG etc are Moderators (it says so in their blurb under their name where mine says Registered User) and DaBouncer has done a deal with Geoff to keep order - his says Site Security, what would you wish that yours said?
"Administrator" :lol:
and they say i have ideas above my station....
Moon Maiden 25-09-2003, 16:03 I have two from other forums I quite like - "Bytch Wytch" and "strange woman of the North"
Moon Maiden
cosywolf 25-09-2003, 16:03 Certainly not Registered User - makes me feel like I'm on some NHS or police drug problem list:lol:
Hmm...I'll give it some thought.
Agent Dan 25-09-2003, 16:10 [classified]
Carlwarker 25-09-2003, 16:11 How about, simply, member.
Laughing at Agent Dan for a clever answer
I was fancying being the Equality Officer or similar, as I jump up and down on those kind of issues a lot
I was thinking Moon could be Pagan and Heathens Officer
cycleracer could be Transport Officer
Caprice could be Youth Officer
Classic Rock could be Events Manager
.........etc
But far be it from me to decide for other people, I was just throwing it open for a discussion......

Sorry Tina, I dont get the spelling reference. And you cant be the bitch, someone else already has that title LOL
Classic Rock 26-09-2003, 09:50 I could be 'Ecclesall Rd without'.
Hmmm
Registered User is a bit clinical.
I think there should be some sort of heirarchy, not to sound pompous but just to give some recognition to the constructive posters to the forum.

and obviously Geoff can be The Godfather/Founder/MD or whatever he wants.
"forum friend"?
"forum partner"?
"garlic bread"?
why not use the following scale:
under 100 posts: Larry Grayson
under 500 posts: Graham Norton
under 1000 posts: Boy George
over 1000 posts: Michael Barrymore
:D

alchresearch 26-09-2003, 11:54 How about it Geoff if we bung a bit to charity or SF and you let us have funky unique names?

Not a bad idea geoff. Say a £1 per title and you give 50% of all proceeds to a charity voted for by the Forum members.
I'll even give a £1 for the Site Security. AND I'm sure the Mods would happily give up a nicker for the cause!

Well I feel that MODS should give up £2 each for the MOD privileges and titles. Otherwise.... you loose em!:P

What exactly are these privileges which you feel we should give up?
DaBouncer 26-09-2003, 15:58 Shhhhh I'm trying to convince RPG it's a good idea to give money to charity dude!
I like the subtle, private way you're going about it DB.:D
PaulTansley 26-09-2003, 17:53 Mine, well The fitness Instructor.
I dunno what mine would be.
I'm having a crap day so can only think of negative things to describe myself.
I'll try again when I'm happy :)
Mine would be WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
And no, I'm not gay or wierd for watching and being a fan of US wrestling.

I already have a funky name - Funke is my surname. German for "sparks" So I guess you can call me Sparky. I prefer Princess though!
Now you mention it - I suppose I don't mind what you call me, except that I don't think I am a USER. I mean, I don't 'use' anyone. I try to do my bit. It is not my fault that it is not enough! OK, if you don't like me, I will go and look at The Bill(it is 8.30pm here).:D

in which sense of the word popular?
1. widely favoured or liked by many people
2. the left overs, a residual category, substandard - not high-brow
3. formulaic, manipulative
4. of the people for the people
5. hegemonic; dominant
6. postmodern
I think it was a typo
He meant Mr. Poplar, like the tree.
kittykat 28-09-2003, 23:05 Can we actually get these names or what?

Would you be actually considering getting rid of Princess Funke :(
Or was that a reference only to people from Rotherham?

It wasn't that bad Max. I got it. In fact I recall John Shuttleworth writing a whole song using that joke.
For the benefit of foreigners 'Hope' is a village in Derbyshire about 20 mins drive from Sheffield.
Anyway, John Shuttleworth eh? Anybody here know him?
