Don't be mean Strix;)

Try the Prevention of Terrorism Act - just a guess btw!:D

Don't know about the paedophile bit as that has civil liberties connections.

You've a better chance of knowing than people sat at a terminal answering strange questions. Ooh, I are one. ;)

Well,

Part of being a Law Student is knowing the basics of finding things out.

You could Google to start with, or there's the library.

Information about terrorists in the media will be covered by such things as the Prevention of Terrorism Act (and it's recent amendments), The Official Secrets Act and the 'D' Notices system that deals with information considered to be sensitive to the defence of the realm.

As for Paedophiles - have no idea.

Joe

i have tried google searches and the like. This is not an area of law i have covered at all, at any time throughout my degree. It's a side point i wanted to make in an essay. And to the tit who said i've more chance of knowing...if i've not covered it, i aint gonna know it.

No offence Leigh but you are not likely to get people to help you if you take that attitude either. Both Joe and myself have made a suggestion but you haven't even had the grace to acknowledge this. I doubt if I will be helping you again with that attitude!

I wasn't after an apology but a thank you would be nice! Courtesy and good manners cost nothing afterall.
