This may be a boring topic for some people but I just wanted to ask?

Does anyone know when you should plant daffodil bulbs so they flower in September?

I am prepared to stand corrected, but I don't think that it is going to happen without special pre-treatment involving weeks of chilling.

Bulbs which are planted to flower out of season eg hyacynths at Christmastime or just after have been specially treated for 'forcing'.

If you planted ordinary bulbs they would flower during the season which nature intended them to flower.

As for daffodils in September I'm afraid that I've never heard of that one.
