Anyone drive their ponies?

Can anyone recommend any places to get out and about with mine, preferably tried and tested routes?

No, but I'd love to. Only one of our ponies would be up to the job and it would just be for fun. Are you already driving but looking for places to go or starting out?

I've broken a couple of my ponies to drive and have another one to do this year, maybe two if she comes back off loan. It's great, I love it! Thinking about taking ponies in to break too :)

Carr isn't too far away from me, just that stretch of main road through Maltby to negotiate. Perhaps it's one for a sunday afternoon pub drive :)

I trust the pony in the traffic, but not the traffic with the pony :D

Crikey Hunni, you're trusting of traffic doing Cumwell Lane up to Carr. That is one hell of a fast road. Can I have your horse? :D

Jobi-wan, it really does depend where you're coming from doesn't it? No road is entirely safe - busy main road and traffic proof pony doesn't necessarily mean that quiet roads are better because a driver may not be as observant on a country lane.

Swings and roundabouts sadly.
