Do you mean there? Good venue, good sound system, nice staff - including door staff. bellis 14-03-2005, 15:01 Originally posted by mjlacey21 Club Zero is on matilda street. Do you mean there? There's quite a lot of mentions of it on the forum if you do a search - it's where Urban Gorilla and Sneak are based. jake 14-03-2005, 15:45 Bl**dy hell - are they both still going? I saw Suicidal Tendancies in Manchester about 87... very good they were too. .Zero is a great venue and has a good selection of beer on - you can even get Leffe there! no_rules 14-03-2005, 17:36 i'm the guy doing those 2 shows... as stated above it has an excellent sound system, all the bands we've had there have sounded great, almost a novelty in Sheffield to hear a band crystal clear through some of the PA's our "venues" provide, it's also fairly compact in front of the band so gets a great atmosphere, also it has a fairly low stage so the band are right in yer face....and you can be in theirs :) drinks prices are on a par with every other sheffield venue, and the beer tastes nice too, not like some chemically laced s**te... the door staff monitor the front door but keep a low profile inside, you won't even notice they're there, BTW Suicidal is on sale online already and is selling well fast - it's taken me by surprise I can tell you..... bellis 14-03-2005, 17:39 Originally posted by no_rules i'm the guy doing those 2 shows... as stated above it has an excellent sound system, all the bands we've had there have sounded great, almost a novelty in Sheffield to hear a band crystal clear through some of the PA's our "venues" provide, it's also fairly compact in front of the band so gets a great atmosphere, also it has a fairly low stage so the band are right in yer face....and you can be in theirs :) drinks prices are on a par with every other sheffield venue, and the beer tastes nice too, not like some chemically laced s**te... the door staff monitor the front door but keep a low profile inside, you won't even notice they're there, BTW Suicidal is on sale online already and is selling well fast - it's taken me by surprise I can tell you..... when did the tickets go on sale one of the bar staff at the dove and rainbow told me last week they had not got any tickets yet as far as i know sheffield is the only gig of theirs in the north no_rules 15-03-2005, 00:05 the tickets will go into the dove and jacks etc next monday, at present they are only available from www.no-rules.co.uk and see tickets... they only play Sheffield, London and the NASS festival near Bath, so basically the entire north of the country and scotland and ireland will all descend upon sheffield for this show!!! The Napalm death show is also one of only 2 northern dates, (they also do Newcastle) |
