As at two minutes ago these were the top posters on Sheffield Forum as at September 25th 2003
I think these people should be obliged to come to our gig on October 2nd - it started with you, you can be "founder members" perhaps.
I am pleased to have met three of you famous folk

DaBouncer 25-09-2003, 13:52 I am by no means a founder member, just a 'no life poster'!
But thank you for the mention!
Despite appearing on your list I use different criteria to judge top posters. You, LouiseB, I would consider a top poster along with phano, DB (sometimes), Geoff (always, sycophantically), Lickzz, oh the list just goes on, Caprice, Cosy, others too numerous to mention.
Don't start a thread called bottom posters as that could lead to metaphoric blows.

Sometime.... SOMETIMES how dare you Max. All the time!
Is this stemming from our Merc/Beema conv/argument the other day? :P
It would have been better to have put everyone on the 'sometimes' category, as none of us can say ALL the time.
I'm hurt now! :(

And how hurt would you have been if I hadn't included you at all?

How, exactly, do you think we got on the list in the first place if we hadn't spent our time bickering?

this much <-----> :(
cosywolf 25-09-2003, 15:30 Cool, I made it! 8)
Even if you did have to take it to top 15 instead of top 10...
DB - over 1,000 and not even a moderator! You do need a life:lol:
DaBouncer 25-09-2003, 15:49 LOL, I don't do it for Mod status Cosy.
The amount of posts you make, doesn't qualify you as a mod. It's who you are that counts. Besides I have another job. Site Security! ;)
cosywolf 25-09-2003, 15:52 Just suggesting that mods have a valid reason to have that many posts on here.
What's yours?
Oh yeah, holding insightful conversations with wonderful people like me...
DaBouncer 25-09-2003, 15:53 Of course Cosy!

I'd love to come but live in Manchester. If the meet was on a Friday, that would be much better for me as I could have a few beers and crash at a mate's house.
tinajones 25-09-2003, 19:24 ah but top posters only means number of posts submitted, not length, wisdom and wit!
some posts consist of a quote and a LOL, where as others are well thought out meaningful additions to forum debates.
alchresearch 25-09-2003, 19:26 Yeah, just said the same thing on the other (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2864) post.
I agree with alchresearch friday would have been a much better night.I look after my mum shes 70+:? only night i really get to go out unless its a ghost investigation i have been asked to go on :D

Definetly. It's quality that matters in a post, not quantity!
I like to have the best of both worlds :P
alchresearch 25-09-2003, 20:21 Perhaps two meets could be organised then? The only problem I can see is that most pubs are geared up for boozers and clubbers on Fridays.
tinajones 25-09-2003, 20:36 why don't you take a fri off work (or throw a sickie if u haven't had many this year) - 7 days per year is the UK average) and have a long weekend? you seem to like sheff with all those posts!
alchresearch 25-09-2003, 20:38 I love Sheff! Trouble is school staff can't really have any time off during term and somebody will have seen your comment and grass me up if I have a day off!
tinajones 25-09-2003, 20:40 soz mate.:P
you can always drive the snake. soberly.

Would that be this poster? (http://www.comedy-zone.net/pictures/naughty/rude27.htm)
greennigel 26-09-2003, 11:55 Cheers Zammo. Was looking forward to it until I saw it.:(
As one of the founder members myself, I ashamed not to be one of the top posters. I must try harder.
P.S. I'll be back in Sheffield on Sunday, so look out forum!!
