Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so I apologise if this thread has been started else where.
I'm hoping to move to Sheffield and I want to know if any of you know of any really cheap B&B's. I'm want to stay for a few weeks so I can view prospective properties. The cheaper the better, if it has a bed it'll do.
Thanks.
Hi ya & welcome to the forum, the following link is for bed &
breakfast in Sheffield, these are not the hotels but the more modest

You could try the Fox and Duck in Tinsley, 30 seconds off J34 of the M1 towards Rotherham from Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
Try Richard on 0114 2441938, approx £20 per night or there is the Travel inn next to TGI Fridays Sheffield side of J34 M1 near to Meadowhall.
Loads of cheap hotels in the centre now too, try google maps with hotels sheffield
Probably better going for a Travel Inn/Travelodge or similar - there are a number of "B&B's" and "hotels" that simply house bail hostel types. Lindum hotel in Nether Edge springs to mind. Unless you can go and see a B&B before you actually pay to stay.

i throughly reccommend the riverside court hotel in the centre of sheffield.
Ok it might be a bit rough round the edges, and not in the best area (and is still drying out a bit)
but you get your own generous size room with a fridge and en suite. It has a bar downstairs, internet access. and every floor has a kitchen so you can cook your own food.
Perfect for a house looking stay. its the place we used.
if anyone has the telephone number/details? im in the usa at the moment and i cant look these up.
its riverside court down the wicker on the corner.
its central too.
a good base.
