Does anybody know where I can buy a pedometer in Sheffield? I'm about to step up my half-marathon training and need something to measure how far i've ran. Any ideas? I think I need one that's a bit better than the one they were giving away with Walkers crisps a few months ago.

A pedometre isn't going to be that acurate for finding the distance you have ran. you are better marking your route out on a map and find out that way.

If you're really serious about your running, it might be an idea to have a look at one of the Timex Ironman GPS watches.

Probably more than you wanted to spend but worth it if you're going to get the use out of it. I have a friend who does marathons, great north run etc and he swears by his.
