Leiecester look beaten, and Southampton are playing Coventry (0-0 so far) ...a chance for the Owls to gain valuable ground on their relegation rivals.

It would be a fantastic result for Wednesday.... and a good result for United's very very distant playoff chance.

We could be doing each other a favour .. Owls will overhaul Barnsley if the scores finish like this, and Palace are one of the (many!) teams the Blades need to make ground on.

For barely scraping a point against a bottom-three team they should be beating comfortably? I doubt it.

Typical Wednesday - how many fans are now used to the injury time goals? I know I am and kind of expect it week in week out!

I have to say, I do feel a bit sorry for Wednesday (only a little bit) because that is the sort of bad luck that can send a team down.

To be honest it looks like Colchester, Scunny and Leicester going down.
I dont feel sorry at all for them, If over the season they weren't good enough to stay up then like us last season its too bad :gag:

Having been to watch the game it certainly didn't look like that.

Palace were poor and didn't even look like scoring except for the free kick and the 94th minute goal in which they threw 11 men forward.

I don't care what you say, we didn't deserve that. We played well today.

I don't dispute that, but at 2:59pm, the Owls would've thought a draw to be a fair result, and Palace would've been unhappy with it. A team chasing a playoff spot should be beating a bottom-three side.

Yeah, definitely. At the start of the game I thought Palace were a good side and that a draw would be a good result for us.

After the 94 minutes that I saw I can assure you that I was wrong. Palace were abysmal and deserved nothing.

Exactly. Now who seriously thinks a manager will be pleased because his team played atrociously and were damn lucky to escape with a point in a game they should've been winning?
