I agree totally. It is one of the best, and most original shows to have come out of the US in a long time. From the same creative genius who developed Dead Like Me (and if you haven't seen that show, rush out and buy both seasons of it - marvellous). Pushing Daisies is quirky and sweet, but avoid feeling forced and syrupy. The look is very bright and colourful, and the cast are fantastic.

Best of all, it has been commissioned for a second season too :)

The advertisements for it are intriguing me....

It's fantastic.

You should also check out Dead Like Me (same creator), so long as all the naughty words don't put you off!

Glad you agree. Great taste in TV shows :)

Are you aware of the new Dead Like Me DVD movie due out soon (last I heard it was around Summer in the US). Sadly no Rube in it, and a different actress playing Daisy, but (fingers crossed) it will be worth the wait - and with a potential to kick off a new season (if sales are good).

So...go on....who took our advice and watched it at the weekend?

This has got potential. Slightly Beetlejuice type ting to it, mixed with Ugly Betty and Edward Scissorhands.
Can't get used to the lancs lass Anna Friel talking in an American accent though!

I liked it but am really annoyed ITV are missing out episode 2.

They should be banned from importing programmes - they neever treat them well.

Why are they missing it out?

Because they only had an eight-week window in which to show a nine-week series and they couldn't *possibly* show two episodes in one of those weeks, or stick an episode on ITV2 or anything.

Or, alternatively, because they are usless and it's no wonder nobody watches their channels anymore.

I watched it online - the missed episode 2 is called 'Dummy' and was originally aired in USA on 10th October 2007.

Really enjoyed it; very, very Amelie-esque though isn't it? Not a bad thing though :)
