Could any of the computer buffs out there help me with a small problem please ?

when "right clicking " on an image you wish to save, I am only being given the option to save as Bitmap, not jpg or gif format. How do I change this ? At the moment I am having to take all the images to Psp 9 and change it back to gif, but this loses any animation.
thanks in advance

David

What browser are you using?

Some browsres don't support saving as gif because of patent law / open source issues.

If you're using IE then you should get it - you certainly do on IE6.

I've assumed you're talking about Save As from a browser - and not another application?

Hiya Joe thanks for your reply. I am running IE6 and trying to save from my browser, the option just doesn't appear on the drop down box, I cannot even save free animated gif downloads
thanks

Good stuff! I didn't know the answer, but I use a program called Window Washer (by Webroot Software) so have never come across the problem.
