Why not donate him/her?!
"Hearing Dogs for Deaf People rely not only on rescue dogs but also dogs donated from breeders or members of the public.
Due to increased demand for trained hearing dogs, we need more friendly, biddable puppies and dogs to be donated to us. If you have, or know someone who has, a puppy or young dog that might be suitable, please contact the dog supply team on 01844 348105 or email dog.assessment@hearingdogs.org.uk"
Saw this in a leaflet I picked up at Crufts and as I've seen quite a few 'good dogs' and puppies going for rehoming on the forum through no fault of their own - thought I'd mention it. Why stick it in a rescue centre when it could be doing fantastic work for someone who not only needs a friend and companion but also a set of working ears?
For more info on the work hearing dogs do (and it's pretty impressive) have a look at: www.hearingdogs.org.uk
Thanks :)
